INITIAL VISIT – free lasik exam visit

COMPLIMENTARY LASIK CANDIDACY EXAM 90 MIN

OVO provides the most advanced diagnostic equipment, more than any other LASIK provider in Minneapolis, to determine if you are a good candidate for LASIK or if a different vision correction procedure would be best suited for your eyes.

Step 1: preoperative instructions 60 min

Relaxing in your personal LASIK suite, you’ll be given valium and all of the instructions and personalized support to assure you are comfortable and your procedure goes smoothly.

Step 2: lasik procedure 10 min (actual procedure time – 2 min per eye)

Using the most advanced technology in the world, Dr. Lobanoff will walk you through the procedure step-by-step along with their team of some of the most experienced ophthalmic technicians in the industry.

Step 3: immediate recovery 2-6 hrs

You will go home immediately following your procedure to rest and (hopefully) nap through any initial burning and discomfort. Within 2-6 hours, your eyes will feel better and you will be able to resume most normal activities.

NOTE: PRK procedure is identical, but recovery time is usually extended

AFTER YOUR procedure

DAY AFTER LASIK VISIT 15-30 min

An initial check up by your OVO doctor will reveal your initial progress following your procedure. You will also have a chance to ask any questions in person.

1 WEEK FOLLOWING LASIK 7 Days

Avoid swimming, hot tubs, eye make up, and contact sports (ask your doctor for specifics). You may resume all other normal activities immediately.

LONG TERM LASIK RESULTS 3 weeks to 3 months

You vision will continue to settle in and clear within the upcoming months. You will return to OVO for a follow up visit around 6 weeks to check you progress. All visits are covered during this time frame, so contact us if you would like to be seen sooner.

ROUTINE EYE CARE 12-24 months

In order to maintain the health of your eyes and protect your investment, you may return to OVO for your routine eye exams or visit your primary eye care doctor every 1-2 years. Post-op visits are covered at no charge for 11 months following your procedure. Routine eye care starting at 12 months is a separate charge.

OVO lifetime assurance 2 months + beyond

An enhancement “touch up” will be performed for you at no charge in the event your vision shifts and is no longer clear. As long as it is safe to perform additional surgery, there are no other arbitrary qualifiers like “other” LASIK clinics.
